Cotton wicks like COTTON BACON and FIREBOLT COTTON are a crucial component in many vaping devices, particularly in rebuildable atomizers (RBAs) such as rebuildable dripping atomizers (RDAs) and rebuildable tank atomizers (RTAs). They serve the essential function of absorbing e-liquid from the tank or dripper and delivering it to the coil, where it is heated and vaporised. The quality and type of cotton used can significantly influence the vaping experience, affecting both flavour and vapor production. Most vapers prefer organic, unbleached cotton wicks due to their purity and lack of chemicals, which can interfere with flavour. Cotton bacon, Japanese organic cotton pads, and specific brands like WICK N VAPE are popular choices. Proper wicking is critical: a cotton wick with too much cotton can restrict e-liquid flow, leading to dry hits and potential coil damage, while too little cotton can cause flooding and leakage.
