IVG 2400 4-in-1 Pod Kit: Is It the Best Value Vape in the UK?

Kit review

Four prefilled pods, one rechargeable battery and a twist to change flavour. Here’s what the IVG 2400 4-in-1 pod kit actually gives you, the full specs, how it stacks up against the IVG Air, the Smart 5500 and the old SKE Crystal Bar, and whether it earns its reputation as a value buy.

Only got a minute?
  • The IVG 2400 4-in-1 is a rechargeable prefilled pod kit with four 2ml pods loaded at once. Twist the base to move between flavours. See the IVG 2400 prefilled pod kit.
  • Specs in one line: 1750mAh battery, USB-C charging, 4 x 2ml pods, 20mg nic salt, about 600 puffs per pod and around 2,400 across the set.
  • It suits vapers who get bored of one flavour, ex-smokers who want zero setup, and anyone replacing the disposables that left the UK market on 1 June 2025.
  • Once the pods are empty, keep the device and buy the IVG 2400 Reload 4-in-1 pods. That’s where the long-term value comes from.
  • If you only ever vape one flavour, a single-pod kit like the IVG Smart 5500 gives more puffs per pod. If you want variety, the 2400 is the pick.

What the IVG 2400 4-in-1 pod kit is

IVG is one of the best-known vape brands in the UK, and the 2400 is its answer to a simple problem: most prefilled pod kits give you one flavour at a time, and a lot of adult vapers get tired of a flavour long before the pod runs out. The IVG 2400 holds four prefilled 2ml pods inside one compact body. A rotating base lines up whichever pod you want with the mouthpiece, so you can go from a menthol to a fruit to a cola in a couple of seconds without carrying spare pods around.

It’s draw-activated, there are no buttons or settings, and the battery recharges over USB-C. Each pod is filled with 20mg nicotine salt at a 50/50 ratio, which is the UK legal maximum strength and the same as the old disposables most people came from. The pods use a mesh coil, so the flavour stays consistent from the first puff to the last rather than tailing off as the pod empties.

The kit comes with four pods already in it, so it’s ready to vape out of the box. It sits in our prefilled pod kits category alongside the single-flavour kits from Lost Mary, Hayati, Elf Bar and the rest of the IVG range. If you’re new to this format, our guide to buying a prefilled pod kit in the UK covers the basics before you pick a model.

IVG 2400 4-in-1 specs

These are the figures from the product listing. Puff counts are a manufacturer estimate at a short, average draw; a longer pull uses more liquid, so treat 2,400 as a ceiling rather than a promise.

Pod capacity 4 x 2ml prefilled pods (8ml total) Four flavours loaded at once; twist to switch.
Nicotine strength 20mg (2%) nicotine salt, 50/50 UK legal maximum. Smooth throat hit, quick satisfaction for ex-smokers.
Puffs Up to 600 per pod Around 2,400 across the four pods, the same as four old 600-puff disposables
Coil Mesh Even heating, consistent flavour to the end of the pod.

What sets the IVG 2400 apart

Plenty of kits are compact, rechargeable and prefilled. The four-pod rotation is the thing you can’t get from a standard single-pod kit, and it changes how the device fits into your day. You don’t need to decide on one flavour in the morning, and you don’t need to keep a spare pod in a pocket where it can leak. For the wider trade-offs between the two formats, read 4-in-1 vs standard pod kits in the UK.

Flavour switching
Twist the base to line up the next pod. Menthol with your coffee, fruit in the afternoon, something sweet in the evening, all from one device.
Compact and light
Four pods and a 1750mAh cell in a body that still fits a jeans pocket. It weighs next to nothing, which matters if you commute or travel.
Rechargeable
USB-C charging means the battery never limits the pods. You throw away four small pods, not a whole device with a lithium cell inside it.
Consistent flavour
Each pod has its own mesh coil, so the flavour you get on puff 500 is the one you got on puff 5. That’s the point users mention most in reviews.

The other side of the coin: 2ml per pod is small. A heavy vaper on one favourite flavour will empty that pod in a day or two while the other three sit half used. The 4-in-1 rewards people who actually rotate. If you know you’ll live on one flavour, look at the single-pod IVG kits in the comparison further down.

Is it good for beginners?

Yes, and it’s one of the easiest kits we sell to explain over the phone. There are no buttons, no wattage, no coils to prime and no bottle to fill. Adults who have just stopped smoking, or who used to buy disposables and want the same experience without the waste, can pick this up and use it straight away. Prefilled pods also remove the most common mistake new vapers make, which is putting the wrong e-liquid in the wrong kit. If you ever want to move to a refillable device later, our prefilled pod kit and e-liquid compatibility guide explains what changes.

Here’s the whole process from unboxing to replacing the pods.

  1. 1
Remove the seals. Take the silicone stoppers off the pods and the mouthpiece cover, then let the device stand for a minute so the coils are fully wet.
  2. 2
Twist to your flavour. Rotate the base until the pod you want clicks into line with the mouthpiece. The flavour names are printed on the pods so you can see what’s next.
  3. 3
Take short, gentle draws. It’s a mouth-to-lung device. Pull as you would on a cigarette, not a deep lung hit. That also keeps you nearer the 600 puffs per pod.
  4. 4
Charge with USB-C when the draw weakens. Any standard USB-C cable will do. A full charge from flat takes under an hour.
  5. 5
Reload when the pods run dry. Pull the empty pod set out, push in a new IVG 2400 Reload 4-in-1 pack and carry on with the same device.

IVG 2400 compared to other IVG kits

IVG has built out a full range of prefilled kits since the disposable ban, and the 2400 sits at the variety end of it. The IVG Air 4-in-1 2400 is the slimmer sibling with the same four-pod idea and its own IVG Air prefilled pods. The IVG Smart 5500 is a single-pod big-puff kit with a smart chipset. The IVG Pro 12 is the high-capacity option for anyone who wants to reload as rarely as possible.

Kit Pods loaded Strength Best for
IVG 2400 4-in-1 4 x 2ml, twist to switch 20mg Variety. Four flavours on you at all times
IVG Air 4-in-1 2400 4 x 2ml, slimmer body 20mg Same idea in a lighter, pen-shaped device
IVG Smart 5500 1 pod, up to 5,500 puffs 20mg One flavour, fewer pod changes, most puffs per pod
IVG Pro 12 Prefilled 2ml pod 0mg to 20mg Heavy vapers who want the longest gap between reloads

On battery, flavour quality and portability the 2400 matches the rest of the family. Where it gives ground is puffs per pod change: a Smart 5500 pod lasts more than twice as long as the whole 2400 pod set. That’s the trade you make for the rotation. Outside IVG, the same choice applies. The Lost Mary BM6000 and the Hayati Pro Max+ 6000 are the big single-pod sellers; we’ve covered them in the Lost Mary BM6000 refill pods guide and the Hayati Pro Max puff guide.

IVG Smart 5500 vs SKE Crystal Bar: what changed

A lot of readers land here from the old IVG Smart 5500 vs SKE Crystal Bar comparison, so here’s the short version brought up to date. The Crystal Bar was a single-use 600-puff disposable with a clear crystal body and bold, sweet flavours. It was simple and it looked good, but it was thrown away with its battery after a couple of days, and it has not been legal to sell in the UK since 1 June 2025. The Smart 5500 was already the better long-term buy back then: a rechargeable battery, a smart chipset that keeps the output even as the charge drops, and up to 5,500 puffs from one pod. Its only real knock was that the extra capacity felt like more device than a first-timer needed.

Today the choice is between prefilled pod kits, and both sides of that old comparison have a replacement. If you liked the Crystal Bar’s look and flavours, the SKE Crystal Plus pod kit keeps the crystal design with a rechargeable battery and swappable 2ml pods. If you want the biggest gap between pod changes, the Smart 5500 still does that. And if the thing you actually miss about disposables is buying a different flavour every time, the IVG 2400 4-in-1 solves it more neatly than either, because you get four flavours in one purchase and only replace the pods.

How the value stacks up

Value on a prefilled kit has two parts: what the first purchase costs you against what it replaces, and what the refills cost you afterwards. On the first part the IVG 2400 does well. One kit gives you the same 8ml and roughly 2,400 puffs as four of the old 600-puff disposables, in four flavours, with a battery you keep. On the second part it does even better, because the prefilled pod refills cost less than the kit and you never pay for the battery twice.

4
flavours loaded in one device
2,400

Value after the vape duty

From 1 October 2026 the Vaping Products Duty adds £2.20 per 10ml plus VAT to all e-liquid, including the liquid inside prefilled pods, so £2.64 lands on every 10ml at the till. That’s the same per ml on every format, prefilled or bottled, so the duty doesn’t change the ranking between them. A refillable pod kit is still the cheaper route per ml. Stock we bought before 1 October can be sold at pre-duty prices until 31 March 2027, which is a reason to stock up on reload packs if the 2400 is your kit.

The honest verdict: the IVG 2400 4-in-1 is the best value prefilled kit for a vaper who wants variety, and it’s the best like-for-like replacement for anyone who used to buy a different disposable every few days. If you settle on one flavour, a single-pod kit gives more puffs per reload. If you’re happy filling a pod yourself, a refillable kit and 10ml nic salts will always be cheaper per puff. For most people coming off disposables, the 2400 is the one that sticks.

Flavour editions worth trying

IVG sells the 2400 and its reload packs as themed editions, each with four flavours built around one idea. There are more than 60 to pick from, and the naming is more helpful than it looks: the edition tells you the family, the four pods give you variations on it.

Fruit editions
Apple (Apple Blackcurrant, Apple Peach, Double Apple, Red Apple Ice), Berry (Berry Lemonade Ice, Blue Razz Cherry, Blue Razz Pineapple, Strawberry Raspberry Cherry), plus Blueberry, Blackcurrant, Mango, Watermelon and Exotic.
Ice and menthol
Menthol, Mint, Frozen and Fruit N Mint editions for anyone who came from menthol cigarettes or ice disposables. Classic Menthol and Blackcurrant Menthol are the two most reordered.
Drinks and sweets
Cola, Fizzy, Lemonade, Coffee and Shisha editions. Cola Lime, Fizzy Cherry and Vimtonic (a berry fizz) are the standouts if you want something that isn’t fruit and ice.
Tobacco and Retro
A Tobacco edition for ex-smokers who don’t want sweetness, and a Retro edition that pulls together older favourites like Heavenly Drops and Yummy Gummy.

Start with an edition built around a flavour you already know you like, then use the reload packs to explore. A Berry or Menthol edition is the safe first buy; Coffee and Shisha are the ones to try once you know the device suits you.

Quick answers

How many flavours are in the IVG 2400?

Four. Each kit and each reload pack holds four 2ml pods, and you twist the base to switch between them.

Is the IVG 2400 rechargeable?

Yes. It has a 1750mAh battery and charges over USB-C. The cable isn’t in the box, so use any standard USB-C lead.

Is it a good choice for new vapers?

It’s one of the simplest kits available. Draw-activated, no settings, no filling, and the 20mg nic salt pods satisfy quickly, which matters in the first weeks after stopping smoking.

Can I use IVG Pro or IVG Air pods in the IVG 2400?

No. The 2400 takes the IVG 2400 Reload 4-in-1 pod packs only. IVG Air, Pro 12 and Smart pods are shaped for their own devices.

How long does a set of pods last?

Around 2,400 puffs across the four pods, which is roughly a week to ten days for a typical ex-smoker. Long, hard draws will shorten that.

Why is the IVG 2400 so popular in the UK?

It’s the closest thing to buying four different disposables at once, now that disposables are off sale, without throwing a battery away every time. Variety, no setup and a reload system that keeps the running cost down.

Specifications, puff counts and flavour editions reflect the IVG range stocked at the time of writing and manufacturer figures; puff counts vary with how you vape. Tax figures reflect HMRC guidance on Vaping Products Duty and are rounded to the nearest penny. For adult smokers and vapers aged 18+ only.
