Cheap vape juice in the UK: how to get the lowest cost per ml

• Work in pence per ml, not per bottle. Divide the price by the millilitres. A bundle that looks expensive is usually the cheapest liquid on the page.
• Multipacks are the single biggest lever on 10ml bottles. A 10 or 20 bottle pack of the same brand costs far less per ml than buying the same bottles one at a time.
• Bulk 0mg bottles are cheaper still if you sub-ohm, because the base liquid is where the volume discount lives.
• There is no cheap 100ml nic salt. Nicotine bottles are capped at 10ml in the UK, so the budget route for salts is a 10 pack, not a big bottle.
• Everything gets more expensive on 1 October 2026. Vaping Products Duty is charged per millilitre on every format, nicotine or not, so the cheapest format per ml stays the cheapest.

Cost per ml is the only number that matters

Cheap and good are not opposites in e-liquid. The budget range is made to the same UK rules on ingredients and labelling as the premium stuff, and the difference in the bottle is usually branding and flavour complexity rather than quality of manufacture. What you are actually paying for at the top end is a more layered recipe and a nicer label.

So the question is not which bottle is cheapest, it is which bottle gives you the most millilitres of something you will genuinely vape. Buying a bargain flavour you dislike is the most expensive thing you can do, because it goes in a drawer. Everything below assumes you already know roughly what you like.

Relative, not absolute. Check the current price on each product page and do the division yourself; it takes ten seconds and it is always worth it.

Multipacks: the biggest single saving on 10ml bottles

If you vape a pod kit or a mouth-to-lung tank, you buy 10ml bottles, and buying them one at a time is where most people quietly waste money. The multipack is the same liquid in the same bottles, boxed ten or twenty at a time, and the gap in cost per ml is not small.

The Hangsen 10 x 10ml is the classic starting point, a long-standing UK range with a wide flavour list and every strength, and crucially you can mix the flavours across the pack rather than committing to ten bottles of one thing. Bulk bottles if you sub-ohm

Direct-to-lung vaping gets through liquid several times faster than a pod kit does, which is why the cheapest route for a sub-ohm user looks nothing like the cheapest route for everyone else. Because nicotine-free liquid is not bound by the 10ml container rule, it comes in bottles as large as manufacturers care to make, and the price per ml falls sharply as the bottle grows.

A 500ml like Zingberry by Kingston is about as low as cost per ml gets on the site. At the 100ml mark the Premium Labs 100ml range is a sensible middle step if you want the volume without committing to half a litre. Do not buy a big VG bottle for a small pod kit. It will not wick, you will burn coils, and replacement coils will eat the saving in a fortnight.

Nic salts on a budget, and the myth of the cheap big bottle

Search for cheap nic salt and you will find pages promoting 100ml nic salt bottles as the value option. They are describing something that cannot legally be sold in the UK. Nicotine-containing e-liquid is capped at 10ml per container and 20mg/ml, full stop, and refillable pods and tanks are capped at 2ml. Anyone offering a large bottle of ready-mixed salt is either confused or not selling to UK rules.

So the budget play on nic salts is the pack, not the bottle. The Keep It 100 pack of 10 is the obvious one, ten 10ml salts in a single box at a per-bottle cost a long way below buying them individually. Strength does not change the price of a bottle, so pick the strength that matches your habit rather than defaulting to the highest one.

Clearance, short-dated stock and mystery boxes

The cheapest liquid on any vape site is almost never on the main category page. It is on clearance, where discontinued flavours, end-of-line branding and short-dated stock get marked down. Short-dated does not mean spoiled. E-liquid does not go off on a date the way milk does; the best before is about flavour drifting rather than anything else, and a bottle a few months from its date is usually fine.

The e-liquid mystery box is the same idea taken further. You do not choose the flavours, which is the whole reason the per-ml cost is so low. It suits people who are relaxed about what turns up and want to broaden what they vape. It does not suit anyone who only ever vapes one profile.

The duty is the big one

From 1 October 2026 the Vaping Products Duty adds £2.20 per 10ml plus VAT to every e-liquid sold in the UK. That is £2.64 on the shelf price of each 10ml, and it applies whether the liquid contains nicotine or not. A 10 x 10ml multipack therefore picks up £26.40 of tax, and a 100ml shortfill with two shots picks up £31.68.

Five ways to cut what you pay, in order

   Buy volume only in a flavour you already know. A bargain bottle you do not like is the most expensive liquid there is. Test in a 10ml, then scale up.

   Switch from singles to multipacks. Same liquid, same bottles, materially lower cost per ml. Mix the flavours within the pack so you are not stuck.
