SKE Crystal Plus pods in brief
The SKE Crystal Plus prefilled pods are made for the SKE Crystal Plus pod kit, a rechargeable 400mAh battery that you keep. Each pod is a prefilled 2ml pod of 20mg (2%) nicotine salt liquid at 50/50 PG/VG, with a mesh coil, and it’s draw-activated for a mouth-to-lung pull. SKE rates each pod at around 600 puffs, though the real figure depends on how long you draw.
You don’t refill these pods. When one runs out or the flavour fades, you take it off and fit a new one. Five good places to start
These aren’t a ranking. They’re one clear example from each group, so you can find out which kind of flavour suits you before you buy more.
Blue Razz Lemonade. The classic lemonade combination: tart blue raspberry with a zesty lemonade finish. If you want a sweet-and-sour lemonade, this is an easy starting point. Pink Lemonade, shown at the top of this page, is a softer, berry-led alternative.
Blueberry Sour Raspberry. Sweet blueberry against sour raspberry. It’s one of the more intense flavours here, so it suits anyone who finds single-fruit flavours a bit thin.
Watermelon Ice. Juicy watermelon with a cold finish. Ice flavours are a good choice if you find sweet fruit too heavy for all-day use, because the menthol keeps each puff feeling clean.
Kiwi Passion Fruit Guava. A three-fruit tropical blend that’s sweeter and softer than the berries. Good if you like mango or peach but want something with more going on.
Grape. A single, simple flavour. If you prefer one clear taste to a blend, start here, or try Sakura Grape for a variation on it.
Once you know which of the five you prefer, move sideways within that group. Liked Blue Razz Lemonade? Try Berry Lemonade or Riberry Lemonade next. Enjoyed Watermelon Ice? Peach Ice and Red Apple Ice keep the same cold finish with a different fruit. If Kiwi Passion Fruit Guava worked for you, Peach Mango and Hawaiian Sunrise sit in the same soft, tropical space. Moving within a group is the quickest way to build a short list of two or three flavours you can rotate between without ever buying one you don’t like.
How to choose your flavours

Pick the group first. Decide whether you want sharp (lemonades), rich (berries), cold (ice), soft (tropical) or sweet (candy). Our guide to vape flavour families helps if you’re not sure.

Buy two or three different packs. Pods come in pairs, so three packs gives you six pods across three flavours: enough to compare without committing.

Rotate between them. Swapping flavours every pod or two keeps things varied. An ice flavour in the mix helps reset your palate.

Replace a pod when the flavour fades. A pod that tastes muted or slightly burnt near the end has done its job. Fit a fresh one rather than trying to finish it.
Getting the best flavour from every pod
Take slow, steady draws. The Crystal Plus is built for a mouth-to-lung pull, like drawing through a straw. Short, sharp puffs or very long ones can make the flavour thin or harsh. A steady two to three second draw usually gives the fullest taste.
Keep spare pods sealed and cool. Leave spares in their packaging until you need them, and keep them out of direct sunlight and hot cars. Heat thins the liquid and can make a pod leak or taste flat.
Charge the battery properly. There’s no cable in the box, so use a USB-C cable plugged into a standard low-output USB plug or a computer port, and avoid fast-charge bricks. Don’t leave it charging unattended overnight.
Give a new flavour a fair chance. Switching from a sweet flavour to an ice or a sour one can taste odd for the first few puffs. Judge a flavour after a whole pod rather than the first minute.
Wipe the contacts now and then. A little condensation on the pod base or battery contacts is normal. A quick wipe with a tissue when you change pods keeps the connection clean and the draw consistent.

Strength, cost and the alternatives
Strength. Every SKE Crystal Plus pod is 20mg nic salt, the UK legal maximum. That suits heavier users; our nicotine strength guide sets out which strengths match which habits. Prefilled or refillable. Prefilled pods are the simplest option, with nothing to fill and a fresh coil every pod. Refillable pods cost less per ml over time but ask a little more of you. Duty. From 1 October 2026 Vaping Products Duty applies to prefilled pods as well as bottles, at £2.20 per 10ml, or £2.64 with VAT.
