The Fifi Crystal 600 in plain terms

The Fifi Crystal 600 Prefilled Pod Vape Kit 20mg is a prefilled pod kit. In the box you get the rechargeable Fifi device, one prefilled pod and a user manual. You vape the pod until it is finished, then click in a new one. The battery stays with you and is recharged, which is the core difference from the single-use disposables that were banned in the UK on 1 June 2025.

That makes it one of the simplest set-ups you can buy. There are no bottles, no coils to change separately and no settings. What each part does

The kit splits the job between the device and the pod. Knowing which does what makes it easy to work out what is wrong if something ever feels off.

Draw activation. Like most compact pod kits, the Fifi has no fire button. A sensor in the device detects the airflow when you inhale and switches the coil on for as long as you draw. Stop drawing and it stops. A slow, steady draw gives the sensor a clean signal and the coil time to heat evenly.

The mesh coil. A 1.2 ohm coil sits at the tight mouth-to-lung end of the range, the draw style where you pull vapour into your mouth first and then inhale. Mesh heats evenly across a larger surface, which gives consistent flavour. Because the coil is part of the pod, you get a fresh one every time you change pods, so there is no coil to wear out between pods.

The liquid. Each pod is a 50/50 nic salt at 20mg, the UK legal maximum strength. Nic salts are designed to feel smooth at higher strengths, which is why 20mg is the standard for this type of kit.

Using it: five simple steps

   Charge it first. Plug a USB-C cable into a standard low-output USB plug or a computer port. Avoid fast-charge bricks and do not leave it charging unattended overnight.

   Fit the pod. Remove any packaging or seals from the pod and push it into the device until it seats firmly.

   Draw slowly. Take a gentle two to three second puff. The device fires as you inhale.

   Recharge when it slows. If the vapour gets weaker while the flavour is still there, the battery probably needs charging.

   Replace the pod when it fades. When flavour drops away or turns harsh on a charged battery, the pod is finished. Fit a fresh one.

Pod life, battery life and flavours

Each prefilled 2ml pod is rated at 600 puffs or more. Real life depends on how long and how often you draw, but as a guide a 600-puff pod lasts a light user two to four days. Common questions when something feels wrong

Store the kit upright and out of hot cars and direct sun. Warm liquid is thinner and more likely to find its way onto the contacts. When a pod is empty, check your local council’s guidance for disposing of it, and take the battery to a recycling point for small electricals at the end of its life.

Getting the most from each pod

Draw gently and steadily. A tight 1.2 ohm coil is built for slow mouth-to-lung puffs of two to three seconds. Hard, long pulls do not give you much more vapour; they mostly use the pod up faster and can make the flavour taste slightly hot.

Keep the battery topped up. A low battery gives weaker vapour, and it is easy to mistake that for a finished pod. If the flavour is still there but the vapour has thinned, charge the device before you reach for a new pod.

Keep it upright and cool. A kit left on its side in a hot pocket or on a car dashboard is more likely to gurgle or leave liquid on the contacts. Standing it upright on a desk or bedside table avoids most of that.

Keep the contacts clean. Every week or so, pull the pod out and wipe the base of the pod and the contacts inside the device with a dry tissue or cotton bud. Clean contacts give a reliable connection every time you draw.

Carry a spare. A pod can run out at an awkward moment, so keeping one sealed spare in a bag or drawer means you are never caught short.

Who it suits, and the alternatives

Good fit if you want the simplest possible set-up, a tight mouth-to-lung draw and 20mg nic salt, and you would rather never handle a bottle. The draw activation and built-in coil mean there is very little to learn or maintain beyond charging, swapping pods and wiping the contacts now and then.

Less suited if you want a lower strength, a looser draw or a wider flavour choice. Fifi Crystal 600 pods only come at 20mg, and the flavour range is set by the brand.
