- BM6000 pods are prefilled, not refillable. Each one is a sealed 2ml pod of MaryLiq nic salt with the coil built in. You never open a bottle.
- Rated at 6,000 puffs, the manufacturer’s figure. Real-world puffs depend on how long and how often you draw.
- The battery is separate and rechargeable. 1000mAh, USB-C, LED indicator. Buy the kit once, then just buy pods.
- Over 50 flavours in 0mg, 10mg and 20mg. All 50/50 nic salt on a QUAQ mesh coil, tuned for a tight mouth-to-lung draw.
- Pods only fit the BM6000 battery. They are not interchangeable with the BM600, Tappo or Nera ranges.
What the Lost Mary BM6000 is
Since single-use disposables were banned in the UK on 1 June 2025, the vape brands that used to sell them have moved to prefilled pod kits: a rechargeable battery you keep and a pod you swap when it runs dry. Lost Mary’s answer at the big-puff end of the market is the BM6000, and it’s one of the most searched-for kits on our site.
The name is the puff count. The BM6000 is a 1000mAh kit that takes one prefilled 2ml pod, rated at 6,000 puffs. Replacement pods come in 0mg, 10mg and 20mg, and you swap the pod when the flavour fades.
One thing to clear up straight away, because the old version of this article got it wrong: these are prefilled pods, not refill pods. You cannot open one and add your own e-liquid. If you’d rather fill a pod yourself, Lost Mary’s MaryLiq 10ml nic salts in a refillable pod kit are the way to go, and we cover that in our prefilled pod and e-liquid compatibility guide.
BM6000 pod specs at a glance
Everything below comes from the product listing and the manufacturer’s spec sheet. Puff counts are always an estimate: a two-second draw will get you closer to 6000 than a five-second one, as our breakdown of puffs in 10ml of nic salt shows.

When to change a BM6000 pod
There is nothing to fill and nothing to adjust. Vape until the flavour starts to fade or the draw turns harsh, then pull the pod off and click a new one on. The coil is part of the pod, so every new pod is also a fresh coil, which is why the flavour stays consistent from one pod to the next.
Because the battery section detaches from the pod, you are only replacing the pod, not a battery and circuit board. That is the point of the rechargeable prefilled pod format, and it is why kits like this are the legal replacement for single-use vapes.
Every BM6000 flavour
Lost Mary’s flavour list for the BM6000 is one of the longest of any prefilled pod, and it maps closely onto the flavours people already know from the BM600 and from MaryLiq nic salts. Availability in each strength varies, so check the dropdown on the pod listing for what’s in stock today.
If you’re switching from the BM600 disposable-era range, the safe bets are the ones that carried over unchanged: Blueberry Sour Raspberry, Triple Melon, Watermelon Ice and Menthol. If you want a break from ice, Latte and Double Apple are the two that taste least like everything else on the list. If you are choosing between brands, our Vuse pods vs Lost Mary pods comparison covers which flavours each does best.
Which strength should you pick?
The BM6000 uses nic salt, which gives a smoother throat hit at high strength than freebase liquid does. That’s what lets 20mg feel comfortable in a small, low-power device.
20mg is the UK legal maximum and the strength most people coming straight from cigarettes or from disposables should start on. How long a pod lasts depends on how much you vape; heavier users change pods more often.
10mg suits lighter smokers, anyone who finds 20mg too harsh, or vapers who have been on 20mg for a while and want a lighter hit without changing device, which our nicotine strength guide covers in detail.
0mg is for people who want the flavour without nicotine. It’s also handy if you like to alternate a nicotine pod with a nicotine-free one through the day.
How the BM6000 compares with other Lost Mary pod kits
Lost Mary now sells several pod systems and the pods are not cross-compatible, so it pays to know which one you’re buying into. All of them use MaryLiq nic salt and a draw-activated battery; the differences are puff count, pod format and how many flavours you can carry at once.
| Kit | Pod format | Rated puffs | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| BM6000 | Prefilled 2ml pod, sold singly | 6,000 | Heavier users who want the fewest pod changes |
| BM600 | 2ml pods, 2 pack | Approx. 600 each | Closest feel to the old BM600 |
| Tappo 600 | 2ml pods, 2 pack | Approx. 600 each | Pocket-sized, swap flavours often |
| 4 in 1 Eco 3200 | Four prefilled pods in one device | Approx. 3200 total | Four flavours to rotate between |
| Nera 30k Fullview | Large prefilled pod with screen | Approx. 30,000 | Maximum puffs, biggest device |
The BM6000 sits in the middle: far more puffs than the 600 kits, without the size and weight of the Nera. If you like the idea of carrying multiple flavours in one device, our 4-in-1 vs standard pod kits guide weighs that up properly. Against other brands, the closest rival is the Hayati Pro Max+ 6000, which we compare head to head in Lost Mary vs Hayati, and the Hayati Pro Max puff guide explains how those big puff counts are measured.
How to change a BM6000 pod
- 1
Check the window first. If the flavour has dropped off suddenly after a run of long draws, the coil may just need a rest. Wait a minute and try again before binning a pod with liquid in it.
- 2
Pull the old pod straight off the battery. It’s a friction fit.
- 3
Remove the silicone bungs from the new pod. There’s one on the mouthpiece and one over the contacts at the base. Leave them in and the device won’t fire.
- 4
Push the new pod on until it clicks, then wait two minutes. The pod is prefilled, but the coil needs a moment to saturate.
- 5
Recycle the empty. The used pod contains a coil and a small amount of residue. Drop it in the vape recycling bin most vape shops now have rather than household waste.
Battery, charging and everyday use
The 1000mAh cell is generous for a device this size. A full charge comfortably outlasts a day for most users, and you’ll usually charge the battery several times before you change the pod. USB-C fast charging means a flat battery is back to full in well under an hour, and the LED indicator drops through its colours so you get warning before it dies rather than a dead device mid-draw.
The device is draw activated with no fire button and no settings, which makes it about as simple as a vape kit gets. At 97mm tall and just over 2cm thick it disappears into a jeans pocket. The draw is a tight mouth-to-lung style that mimics a cigarette; if you prefer a looser, airier draw, the BM6000 is not the kit for you and a refillable pod kit with adjustable airflow would suit better; our best pod kits for beginners list has several.
Two things to keep in mind. First, the pods are sealed and cannot be refilled, so the ongoing cost is the pod, not e-liquid. Second, from 1 October 2026 every millilitre of vape liquid sold in the UK carries Vaping Products Duty at £2.20 per 10ml plus VAT, and that includes the liquid inside a prefilled pod. Our vape tax guide explains what that means for pod prices and why stock bought before October is the cheapest it will be.
Is the BM6000 the right kit for you?
Buy it if you used to get through several disposables a week and want the same flavours and draw with far fewer trips to the shop. Each pod is rated at 6,000 puffs, and you’re only replacing the pod, not a battery each time.
Buy it if you want zero maintenance. No filling, no coil changes, no settings. It’s about as simple as a rechargeable kit gets.
Look elsewhere if you like switching flavour several times a day. A 6,000-puff pod is a long commitment to one flavour, and a 600 puff two-pack kit or a 4-in-1 gives you more variety.
Look elsewhere if you want the lowest possible running cost. Prefilled pods are convenient but you pay for that convenience; a refillable pod kit and 10ml nic salts will always work out cheaper per ml. If you’re weighing that up, start with our guide to buying a prefilled pod kit in the UK, and browse the full prefilled pod kit range to see what else is out there.

Quick answers
No. The pod is sealed at the factory and the coil is built in. When the flavour fades you replace the whole pod. If you want to refill, buy a refillable pod kit and MaryLiq 10ml nic salts instead.
No. Each Lost Mary pod system has its own connector. BM6000 pods only work with the BM6000 battery, so make sure you’re buying pods that match the kit you own.
Each pod is rated at 6,000 puffs. How long that lasts depends on how often and how long you draw; long draws and chain vaping bring it down.
Yes. The ban from 1 June 2025 covers single-use devices. The BM6000 has a rechargeable battery and replaceable pods, and each prefilled pod is 2ml at up to 20mg, so it meets the rules.
The mesh coil needs to soak. Give a fresh pod a couple of minutes on the battery and take a few short draws before a full one.
If you’re switching from cigarettes or from 20mg disposables, start on 20mg. Choose 10mg if 20mg feels too strong, or 0mg if you only want the flavour.
