- The Gotek Pro 2 is the big-battery pick. It pairs a 2500mAh battery with three power modes, an LED display and a 2ml refillable pod.
- The Cyber S is the pocket pick. It has a 700mAh battery and two pods in the box, with airflow you change by rotating the pod.
- Choose the pod family, not just the kit. Gotek, Pixo, Loomix, TSX and TG pods don’t swap between families, so your first kit sets your repeat buy.
- Most of the range wants 50/50 liquid. Most of Aspire’s listings point to 50% VG e-liquid, and these kits suit nic salts in a 0.8Ω or 1.0Ω pod.
- Check the cable. The Pixo Max listing says a USB-C cable is not included, and the Gotek Pro 2 contents list doesn’t show one.
Aspire Gotek Pro 2: what you get
The Aspire Gotek Pro 2 is a refillable pod kit built around a 2500mAh internal battery. Aspire says it can last up to a full day on one charge and fully recharges in about 90 minutes. That’s a big battery for a compact kit, and it’s the reason to pick this one over a smaller Gotek.
Setting it up is simple. Fill the pod, click it in and inhale. Aspire says Smart Mode adjusts the wattage automatically, and you can choose from three modes: Eco to extend battery life, Normal for balanced performance, or Max to enhance flavour. An airflow slider moves the draw from tight to more open, and there’s an LED display on the device.
The box holds the device, one 0.8Ω Gotek V2 pod and a manual. Aspire describes that pod as designed mainly for MTL (mouth-to-lung) vaping, the tighter style of draw, which suits a 50% VG liquid. The listing says the kit takes all Gotek and Gotek V2 refillable pods, and our Aspire Gotek replacement pods come in 0.8Ω and 0.6Ω. Go for 0.6Ω if you’d like a looser RDTL (restricted direct-to-lung) draw.
Who it suits: anyone who wants a simple refillable kit with a big battery.
Gotek Pro 2 vs the original Gotek Pro
If you know the Aspire Gotek Pro, the new model adds battery capacity and power modes, and both are still listed. Here’s how they differ on paper.
| Feature | Gotek Pro 2 | Gotek Pro |
|---|---|---|
| Battery | 2500mAh | 1500mAh |
| Output | Eco, Normal and Max modes | Constant 3.4V |
| Charge time | About 90 minutes | Under an hour |
| Display | LED display screen | LED indicator |
| Pod in the box | 0.8Ω Gotek V2 | 0.8Ω built-in mesh coil Gotek pod |
| Airflow | Adjustable slider | Adjustable, at the base |
The original is still a tidy MTL kit if you want one fixed output and nothing to adjust beyond airflow. If you’ve used one for a while, the Pro 2 lets you keep buying the same family of pods.
Aspire Cyber S: the compact option
The Aspire Cyber S goes the other way, with a compact body and a much smaller 700mAh battery. What makes it interesting is the amount of control it offers. It fires by button or by inhaling, the button cycles through three power settings, and a dual airflow system switches between MTL and RDTL when you rotate the pod.

Two refillable 2ml pods come in the box, one 0.8Ω and one 1.0Ω, along with a USB-C cable. Both have built-in mesh coils, and you refill through the silicone stopper on the side. The kit listing recommends 50/50 e-liquid, while the pod listing suggests 60% PG or higher, so stick to 50% VG or lower. Spare Aspire TSX pods are made for the Cyber S and Cyber X only.
Who it suits: vapers who put portability first and don’t mind charging more often. With 700mAh against 2500mAh, it’s the clear trade-off against the Gotek Pro 2.
Pick your pod family first
Every kit here uses a pod with a built-in coil, so you never change a coil on its own. You fill the pod and replace the whole thing when the flavour fades. That makes the pod your repeat purchase, and it’s worth knowing which family you’re joining before you buy. Our pod compatibility guide covers other brands too.
Aspire Loomix pods have the widest choice of resistance, with four options, and Aspire Pixo pods have three. Gotek pods have the most kits to go with them. The Cyber range is split: Aspire TSX pods for the Cyber S, and Aspire TG pods for the Cyber GT.
Because of power limits, the 0.6Ω Gotek pod doesn’t suit every Gotek kit. All the Gotek kits in the table below can take it, but check the pod listing first if yours isn’t there.
The Aspire range compared
Here are ten current Aspire pod kits side by side, all with 2ml refillable pods.

|---|---|---|---|---|
| Gotek Pro 2 | 2500mAh | Gotek and Gotek V2 | 0.8Ω | Long-battery MTL |
| Pixo Max | 2600mAh | Pixo | 0.4Ω dual mesh | Open draw, power control |
| Cyber GT | 2400mAh | TG | 0.8Ω | Long battery life, button or inhale |
| Gotek Pro | 1500mAh | Gotek | 0.8Ω | Fixed-output MTL |
| Loomix | 1500mAh | Loomix | 0.8Ω | Sleek everyday kit |
| Pixo Aura | 1300mAh | Pixo | 0.6Ω | RDTL with simple controls |

| Cyber S | 700mAh | TSX | 0.8Ω and 1.0Ω | Pocket use |
Which other Aspire kit should you look at?
Aspire Pixo Max. This has the biggest battery here at 2600mAh, a 5 to 30W output and Eco, Normal and Max modes. It fires by button or inhale, and the supplied pod tops up without coming off the device. The 0.4Ω dual mesh pod in the box gives an airy RDTL vape, and Aspire also lists a 1.0Ω pod for MTL. Check the pod listing for dual mesh availability, as single mesh pods fit too. Remember the cable: the listing says you need to buy a USB-C one separately.

Aspire Pixo Aura. The easier Pixo. It has a 1300mAh battery, a 12 to 27W range and a side airflow slider, and Aspire says Smart Mode detects the pod and sets the wattage. It comes with a 0.6Ω pod for RDTL. Single mesh Pixo pods fit, but the 0.4Ω dual mesh pod is for the Pixo and Pixo Max only.
Aspire Loomix. A sleek kit with a 1500mAh battery that Aspire says recharges in about 55 minutes. It has a concealed LED screen, a 5 to 27W range, a side airflow slider and a top-fill design. The 0.8Ω pod in the box gives a tighter MTL draw, and pressing the button three times switches between Eco and Max.
Aspire Cyber GT. A 2400mAh kit with Eco, Normal and Boost modes and both inhale and button firing. The 2ml TG pod in the box has a 0.8Ω built-in coil, with 1.0Ω available for a tighter draw.
Aspire Gotek X3. A 1200mAh kit with Eco, Normal and Max modes, an airflow slider and a side display showing battery and power level. It works with the full range of refillable Gotek pods.
Aspire Gotek Nano. A lightweight 1000mAh kit with a bottom airflow slider. It comes with a 0.6Ω pod for RDTL, and you can add a 0.8Ω pod for a tighter MTL draw.
Aspire Gotek X II. An 800mAh kit with a 1 to 19W output and inhale activation. Both a 0.6Ω and a 0.8Ω pod come in the box, so it’s an easy way to find out which draw you prefer.
What liquid and strength to use
Most of Aspire’s listings point to 50% VG liquid, or 50% VG or less for Pixo pods. Nic salts are a common choice, and they usually come in 50/50 bottles of up to 10ml. High-VG 70/30 usually suits coils below about 0.6Ω, but Aspire’s Pixo listing includes its 0.4Ω pods in that 50% VG advice, so follow the listing for each pod.
| Pod | Draw | Liquid | Strength |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1.0Ω or 0.8Ω | MTL | 50/50 | Match your habit, see our strength guide |
| 0.6Ω | RDTL | 50/50 | Lower to moderate |
| 0.4Ω (Pixo) | RDTL, airy | 50% VG or less, per Aspire | Lower, never 18mg or 20mg |
The looser the draw, the lower the strength you’ll usually want, because you take in more vapour on each puff. Our nicotine strength guide has the full table by daily habit. Nicotine bottles in the UK are capped at 10ml and 20mg/ml, and pods at 2ml.
Getting the most from an Aspire kit
- 1
Fill it and give it a moment. Open the stopper or top-fill port, fill to the line and let the coil soak for a few minutes before your first puff.
- 2
Start low. If your kit has power modes, start on Eco or the lowest setting, then move up if you want more flavour or vapour.
- 3
Set the airflow last. Tighten or open the draw a little at a time.
- 4
Charge it gently. Use the USB-C cable supplied with the kit, or your own if it doesn’t include one, in a standard low-output USB plug or a computer port. Avoid fast-charge bricks, and don’t leave it charging unattended overnight.
- 5
Replace the pod when the flavour fades. A pod coil typically lasts one to three weeks, so keep a spare from the right family.
