What is the difference between coils and atomizer heads?

Atomizer heads, also sometimes referred to as coils, are replaceable components that include the wick, coil, and casing as a single unit. Typically situated at the base of your tank, they allow the wick to absorb e-liquid during use or when the device is idle. Acquiring a pack of replacement atomizer coils ensures easy and reliable maintenance for your e-cigarette. Simply twist out the old “coil” (comprising the coil, wick, and casing) and replace it with a new one. Vape coils are available in various configurations such as single-coil, dual-coil, quad-coil, etc. This designation indicates the number of wicks and coil wires present, with single-coils having one of each, while dual-coils feature two of each — and so forth — heating the e-liquid simultaneously. Single coils demand less battery power and are simpler for advanced vapers to assemble for their mod kits, whereas dual-coil and higher configurations produce larger clouds and richer flavour. However, for most traditional vapers, these distinctions may not be relevant, as they primarily concern sub-ohm vapers.
