This wee machine is simple & simply great. It’s the best, no-fuss pod kit, ever. I got it in Dark Grey & I use the 1.2ohm V2 Side-Fill pods, with Elux 50/50 nic salt & the airflow slider centred – neither fully closed, nor fully open. It took about 40 minutes, to fully charge out of the box – from red/ dead, about 2 hours. Starting with the best bit – it barely needs attention for condensation – I don’t know how – it must vent really well? It feels nice in the hand; a bit of texture to aid grip; weighs next to nothing, yet, it feels robust. It also, doesn’t feel cold in this cooler weather – not like my metal XLIM Classic Edition. That may be why, this GO unit suffers less, from residue/ condensation? I think it’s made of some kind of plastic. I like the silver trim & the bright indicator light. It performs well to the last five or so puffs. The V2 Side-Fill pods are the cleanest I’ve ever used. You have to be going some, to get juice on your hands & like I’ve said, they rarely have much moisture/ residue on them. The bung is easy to remove, but, it is a nice, positive-feeling tight seal. I use 20mg strength nic salt & I get no more than a couple of weeks from each pod.
Just over 2 years ago, I started to monitor my smoking & I found I used to smoke, or want a cigarette, every 45 minutes – this monitoring, was, as I was preparing to cut down – I then started on disposables, but, I was using one every 2 days, or less – the impact on the environment started to worry me. In a kit, I’m refilling two pods on rotation, twice a day. This is not from empty – when I say refilling, I mean, keeping the juice from falling below the top of the cotton in the coil window. Important to note, also – I am at home all day. The thing I like best about vaping, is that I can take a few puffs & put it down every 25 minutes, instead of smoking a whole cigarette every 45 minutes. I’ve not smoked a cigarette since taking up vaping – cigs, to me now, are vile – of course, the nicer flavour & my house/ car/ hair/ clothes not stinking, come up high on the plus points. I’m not hacking up stuff of a morning, either. It’s an altogether cleaner experience – having to accept, that having been a smoker from age 13, for nearly 34 years by the time I switched to vaping, I am addicted to nicotine – I’ve found that this is the lesser of two evils. I actually wish I’d never smoked, filthy habit.
Did I mention, how clean these pods are in use? Little things like this, are a big thing for me – I hate having any kind of stuff on my hands, it drives me crazy until I can get a wipe. For this reason, along with the fact they’re not cold-holders, I think I’ll have to have a stash of these for use in Winter – when it’s cold, the less I have to wipe my hands, the better. I want the Blue Graffiti one next – no, I want two of ’em!
Especially when fully charged, it produces some really satisfying vapour. It’s great value for money, simple as, it looks neat & performs well – you’ll not go wrong with this, whether you’re a beginner leaving disposables, or, a seasoned vaper, looking for a reliable, no-bells/ no-whistles back-up, while your mod’s getting fixed.
My only gripe is, the thing won’t stand up! It has a strip of silicone on the bottom, but, because it’s not flat, it needs leaning against something, or, putting in something, to keep it upright. It doesn’t suffer like others, with juice in the mouth from being laid flat, but, I just prefer to keep it upright, to keep dust/ debris from getting in. Even with that in mind, it doesn’t put me off the Oxva XLIM GO, because it’s still very much worth having. Oxva XLIM generally, beats other pod kits I’ve tried, hands down.
