The kit matters as much as the liquid

A great salt in the wrong device tastes harsh, burns coils and wastes liquid. Three rules cover most of it.

Stay above 0.6Ω. Nic salts belong in mouth-to-lung pod kits with coils from 0.6Ω to 1.2Ω. Higher resistance means a cooler, tighter draw and a smoother 20mg. Sub-ohm tanks and box mods are for 3mg to 6mg shortfills, not salts.

Keep the power low. Most salt-friendly pods run between 8W and 18W. If your kit has adjustable wattage, start at the bottom of the coil’s range and creep up. More power doesn’t mean more flavour with a salt; it means a hotter, rougher hit.
