- Kingston is a UK-made, no-frills e-liquid brand built around fruit, menthol and slush flavours. Zingberry (blueberry, aniseed and menthol) is the one everybody buys. Browse the full Kingston e-liquid range.
- It comes in four sizes: 10ml with nicotine for pod kits, 100ml shortfills for everyday use, 200ml sweets bottles and 500ml bulk bottles for people who have found their flavour.
- Pick the ratio to match the kit. 50/50 bottles for pods and mouth-to-lung tanks, 70/30 for sub-ohm tanks and mods. The ratio is written into the product name, so check it before you order.
- The big bottles are the value play, and they stay that way after the vape duty because the tax is the same £2.64 on every 10ml whichever bottle it arrives in.
- Start with a 10ml or 100ml of a flavour before committing to 500ml of it. Half a litre of a flavour you don’t like is a long way to the bottom.
What Kingston e-liquid is and why it sells
Kingston isn’t a brand that spends money on packaging. The bottles are plain, the labels are simple and the flavour list hasn’t changed much in years. That’s the point. Most of the range is fruit and menthol done in a straightforward way, at a price per ml that’s hard to match, in bottles that go all the way up to 500ml.
The two things Kingston does better than most budget brands are consistency and cooling. A Zingberry bought this month tastes the same as one bought two years ago, and the menthol in the “Chill” and “Ice” flavours is properly cold rather than a faint aftertaste. If you vape all day and want one big bottle that does the job, Kingston is usually where you land.
The Kingston flavours worth knowing
The range splits neatly into menthol fruits, slush and sweets, and a handful of dessert and tobacco flavours. These are the ones customers reorder.
Zingberry (Heisenberry)
Ripe blueberry up front, a wave of cool menthol, and a subtle aniseed note on the exhale that gives it the “mysterious” edge the Heisenberg-style flavours are known for. Sweet without being sickly, cold without being harsh. If you only try one Kingston flavour, make it this one. The 500ml is the best seller on the site; the Zingberry 100ml 50/50 is the pod-kit version of the same recipe.
Profile: blueberry, aniseed, menthol. Sizes: 10ml, 100ml (50/50 and 70/30), 500ml (70/30).

Red A
Red A is Kingston’s take on the classic red fruit and aniseed mix. It’s rounder and softer than Zingberry, with a mixed red berry base and a gentle cooling finish rather than a blast of ice. There’s also a Black Aniseed for anyone who wants the aniseed turned up.
Profile: red fruits, aniseed, light mint. Sizes: 10ml, 100ml (50/50 and 70/30), 500ml.
Chuckleberry
A dark fruit flavour with icy menthol running through it. Kingston describes it as blackberries and dark cherries with a twist of aniseed, so it is the one to pick if Zingberry is a touch too sweet for you.
Profile: blackberry and dark cherry, menthol, a twist of aniseed. Sizes: 100ml (50/50 and 70/30), 500ml.
Blackcurrant Chill
Sweet cordial-style blackcurrant with an icy finish. This is the one for ex-smokers who used to buy menthol cigarettes and want fruit without losing the cold hit. Cherry Chill is the same idea with a juicy cherry base, and the 10ml range carries a plain Cherry if you like that format.
Profile: blackcurrant, ice. Sizes: 10ml, 100ml, 200ml, 500ml.
Menthol and Super Ice Menthol
Plain, clean menthol with a smooth throat hit and no fruit in the way. The standard Menthol is balanced and easy to vape all day; Super Ice Menthol is the same base with the cooling pushed as far as it will go, and Spearmint gives a softer, slightly floral alternative. Menthol is the flavour most people buy in 500ml because there’s nothing to get tired of.
Profile: menthol. Sizes: 10ml, 100ml (50/50 and 70/30), 500ml.
Chilly Willies Strawberry Slush
Strawberry Slush, Blue Raspberry Slush and Blackcurrant Slush are Kingston’s crushed-ice flavours. They’re sweeter and more candy-like than the Chill range, closer to the slush machine at the cinema than to real fruit. Strawberry Slush in 50/50 is a popular pod-kit choice for anyone moving over from a strawberry ice big-puff kit.
Profile: fruit slush, heavy cooling. Sizes: 10ml, 100ml (50/50 and 70/30).
Fruit Pastels and the Sweets range
Fruit Pastels is exactly what it sounds like: the sugary, chewy fruit sweet in vapour form, with no menthol at all. It’s the flavour to try if you don’t like cooling. It’s also the one Kingston sells in a 200ml 70/30 bottle, which sits between the 100ml and the 500ml for anyone who wants bulk without going all in. Refreshing Chews, Sweet Candy Floss Blue Raspberry and Bubblegum are the other sweets-style options.
Profile: fruit sweets, no ice. Sizes: 10ml, 100ml, 200ml (70/30).
Also in the range: Gold Tobacco for a straight tobacco flavour, Sticky Toffee Pudding and Silly Moo Moo Banoffee Pie Milkshake for dessert fans, Lemon and Lime Jelly, and the Podbar Juice 50/50 line (Juicy Strawberry, Kiwi Passionfruit Guava) that copies popular big-puff flavours for pod kits. You’ll find all of them on the brand page.
The 10ml range for pod kits
Kingston’s 10ml bottles are 50/50 and come pre-mixed with nicotine, so they’re the right format for pod kits, mouth-to-lung tanks and anyone who wants a strength above 6mg. UK law limits nicotine-containing bottles to 10ml and 20mg/ml, and this is the only Kingston size that comes with nicotine already in it.

All 10ml bottles are 50/50 PG/VG. The Kingston 10ml is sold in 3mg, 6mg, 12mg and 18mg, in 1, 3, 5 and 10 x 10ml packs of a single flavour and strength.
Which size should you buy?
Each Kingston size is a different format with a different job, and everything above 10ml is a shortfill that needs nicotine added. If the difference between the two formats is new to you, read shortfill vs 10ml e-liquid first.
| Size | Nicotine | Ratio | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| 10ml | Pre-mixed, 3mg to 18mg | 50/50 | Pod kits, MTL tanks, trying a flavour, strengths above 6mg |
| 100ml shortfill | 0mg, 3mg with 2 shots, or 6mg | 50/50 or 70/30 | Everyday bottle for a flavour you already like |
| 200ml shortfill | 160ml at 0mg, or 3mg with 4 shots included | 70/30 | Fruit Pastels fans who want bulk without a 500ml commitment |
| 500ml shortfill | 0mg, 3mg with 10 shots, or 6mg with 20 | 70/30 | Lowest cost per ml. Sub-ohm users who have found their flavour |
10ml is the size to start with. It’s ready to vape, it’s the only Kingston size with real strength, and it’s the cheapest way to find out whether you like Zingberry before buying half a litre of it.
100ml is the everyday bottle. It arrives in a 120ml bottle with a childproof cap and room for two 10ml nic shots, which brings it to roughly 3mg. Most Kingston 100mls are sold in both 50/50 and 70/30 versions, so check the product name before you order.
200ml is the middle size. The Fruit Pastels Sweets 200ml is the one most people buy, and there is a 50/50 version of Blackcurrant Chill in 200ml for pod users. The 0mg bottle holds 160ml with room for four 10ml shots, which fills it to 200ml at roughly 3mg. It is the size to pick if you want bulk pricing without committing to half a litre.
500ml is where Kingston is famous. The liquid comes in a 600ml Chubby Gorilla bottle with 100ml of space, so ten 18mg nic shots fill it exactly and land you at 3mg. It’s 70/30, so it’s for sub-ohm tanks and mods rather than pods. If you’d rather have your 500ml in smaller bottles, the Kingston 5 x 100ml bundle gives you 500ml as five 100ml bottles; the flavours are not mixed and matched, so all five are the one you pick.
Match the ratio to your kit
This is the mistake we see most often with Kingston orders: someone buys a 500ml because it’s the best value, puts it in a pod kit, and burns through three coils in a week. The 500ml is 70/30 VG. It’s thick, it wicks slowly and a small pod coil can’t keep up with it.
The 50/50 100mls are the underrated part of the range. They’re the same Zingberry, Menthol, Red A, Chuckleberry and slush recipes, mixed thin enough for a pod, at shortfill prices per ml. If you use a pod kit and want to get off 10ml bottles, that’s the size to buy, with two nic shots added for about 3mg. You can’t reach 10mg or 20mg in a shortfill, so if you need salt-level strength, stay with 10mls.

How to mix a Kingston 500ml
The 500ml arrives with nothing to do but add the shots, but half a litre of 70VG liquid takes more effort to mix than a 100ml. Here’s the process that gets an even strength from the first fill to the last.
- 1
Choose 70VG nic shots. Match the shot ratio to the liquid so you don’t thin it out. Ten 18mg shots in 500ml gives 3mg. If you want a smoother throat hit, salt shots do the same job.
- 2
Add every shot before you shake. Pull the nib, pour all ten in, replace the nib and cap.
- 3
Shake for two full minutes and leave it overnight. High VG liquid is slow to blend. Turn the bottle end over end rather than just rattling it, then give it a second shake the next day before the first fill.
- 4
Decant into an empty 100ml bottle. Filling a tank from a 600ml Chubby Gorilla is messy. Keep the big bottle sealed in a cool, dark cupboard and refill a small bottle from it. Stored that way, a 500ml keeps for a year or more.
Kingston and the vape duty
From 1 October 2026 the Vaping Products Duty adds £2.20 per 10ml plus VAT to every bottle of e-liquid, nicotine or not, so £2.64 lands on each 10ml at the till. A 100ml with two shots carries £31.68 of tax. A 500ml with ten shots is taxed as 600ml, which is sixty lots of the 10ml figure.
That’s a big number on a big bottle, but it doesn’t change the ranking. The duty is flat per ml, so Kingston’s low base price per ml means the 500ml stays the cheapest way to vape on the site; the gap to a 10ml just gets narrower in percentage terms. Stock we hold before 1 October can be sold at pre-duty prices until 31 March 2027, so if you know your flavour, now is the time to buy the bottle you’d have bought anyway.
If you’re weighing Kingston against the other budget favourite, we’ve compared the two directly in Bar Juice 5000 vs Kingston e-liquid. The short version: Bar Juice is a 10ml nic salt brand for pod kits, Kingston is a shortfill brand for volume, and plenty of people keep both on the shelf.

Quick answers
Zingberry, by a distance. It’s the brand’s best seller in every size. Chuckleberry and Blackcurrant Chill are the next most popular, and Fruit Pastels is the pick if you don’t like menthol.
Not comfortably. The 500ml is 70/30 VG and will burn small pod coils. Buy the 100ml bottles marked 50/50, or the 10mls, for a pod kit.
Ten 18mg shots for 3mg. The bottle holds 600ml, so ten shots fill it exactly. The 3mg option on the product page comes with the shots included.
A sub-ohm user getting through 10ml a day will empty it in about two months. Kept sealed, cool and out of daylight it stays good for well over a year, so a slower vaper isn’t wasting it.
Yes, per ml. The duty adds the same £2.64 to every 10ml whichever bottle it’s in, so the size with the lowest base price per ml, the 500ml, stays the cheapest.
