When they are working these are by far the best could for any tank I’ve ever owned. Unfortunately, more recently (over the last couple of years), I have noticed they seem to abruptly and without warning stop working after anything for 2-4 days. Thinking the issue must be with my tank, I bought a replacement, but no, it seems to be a ‘feature’ of the coils somehow
